My Story
Chloe comes from a small farming town on Lake Huron about seven hours away. Her parents divorced when she was young and inspired her to learn more about how mental health affects you. From grade one to grade twelve Chloe did French Immersion and graduated with honours. From there while Chloe was in Humber College for social work her chronic illness became too much. For two years Chloe focused on improving her health along with her mental health. Some of Chloe's diagnoses include ADHD, Anxiety,Rheumatoid Arthritis and Gastritis. When Chloe learned how to manage both her health and mental health she wanted to help others do the same. Chloe started working at a retirement home before going to Fanshawe College to earn her Personal Support Work. Chloe worked at the retirement home for three more years where she made valuable connections with the elders and learned more about senior mental health. When Chloe's boyfriend of three years got posted to Petawawa for the military she was inspired to continue her education and passion for mental health and to help others.
